“Friendly base in Athens”
Hotel is located in one of the old parts of Athens, within walking distance of Parthenon, Agora, Monastiriki markets, close to subway. Small and simple, but with a gorgeous roof terrace with breathtaking view of Parthenon. Service is pleasant. I would return any time!
“Great view”
Maybe not the cleanest part of town, but very safe. Good location to the Acropolis, and other sights. Room was very clean. Water pressure and supply of hot water was outstanding. You cannot beat the view from the hotel resturant. I was very satisfied.

great views from restraunt also great breakfast room was ok but very small bathroom had trouble getting the door open and squeezing between sink and door to get out .
“Great location, decent hotel”
Friendly staff if you go out of your way to engage them. Generous breakfast with good selection. Get a room with a balcony on the street if you do not mind the noise especially from late night revelry. Convenient to Thission metro and Monastiraki flea market. Good hotel at a reasonable cost.
“Jason Inn”
As mentioned in several travel books, the hotel is tucked away in a street away from the touristy hussle-bussle. It is literally a stone's throw away from the Thissiou metro station and the ancient ruins. The location of the hotel is it's best asset. The view of the Acropolis from the roof-top garden is simply superb! You are walking distance from the Ancient Agora and the Monastiraki square. The staff in the hotel are extremely friendly and provided assistance effectively.
“Very good location”
Great location. Not outstanding as a general matter, but it was reasonably comfortable and clean. A pretty good value for the money at its general location.
“convenient location”
Location is key for this hotel. At first contact, I was negatively impressed with the immediate surrounding (graffitis on the walls) but it proved to be a safe and lively area, even at night. In conclusion good location from where to explore Athens. The rooms was clean and reasonable confortable. Nice view of Acropolis at night from the rooftop restaurant. Good value for the money.
“Nice facilities, great views from rooftop!”
We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly, especially with organising tours, getting transfers, etc. Make sure you enjoy the great views at the rooftop restaurant for breakfast. Its a short walk to Plaka town, overall - very enjoyable stay.
“Great location, good hotel”
Great location, Terrific views from rooftop restaurant, Generous breakfast (free), Clean hotel, Air conditioned and 2 elevators. Front desk staff leaves alot to be desired-not friendly at all-only negative comment that we had but its important to note!
“Great choice”
This hotel was a very good choice. It's not modern or luxurious but it has a ton of charm. Aside the great view from the roof it's a short walk to Plaka and Monastiraki two of the most cosmopolitan and exciting areas of Athens. Also very close to the entry of the Ancient Agora and from there to the Acropolis. I took my little 18 month daughter with me and the staff helped me with all I needed (infant bed, hot water, sterilizing bottles.)
