“Very nice hotel near Omonia Square”
We spent 4 nights here and very much enjoyed the hotel room, staff and restaurant. Local musicians were singing, and playing guitar and bouzouki in the rooftop restaurant our first night there. Great breakfast each morning. Hotel is in a noisy part of town so light sleepers my have trouble. Staff strongly recommended a day cruise which we went on and thoroughly enjoyed. It was very good value. We would stay there again. Hotel is about 8 blocks from the Omonia metro station.
“Exactly what we expected”
No surprises with the hotel. Exactly what we expected from a three star. Good service. Clean room. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - eggs, bacon, cheese, meats, bread, yogurt, fruit, and cereal, on the top floor with a nice view. Located in a busy part of Athens -- close to the museum, but somewhat farther away from other attractions. Seven or eight blocks from the metro.
“Clean and convenient”
The hotel service and location was convenient. The breakfast on the rooftop was a great added bonus.
“Newer, clean but not good neighborhood”
This was a newer, modern, clean hotel. The desk staff was anything but friendly. The room was nice, breakfast good, hotel very clean. It is located on a busy street, so it was quite noisy. The only touristy thing it is close to is the National Archeology Museum (several blocks). The neighborhood is dirty, lots of "tagging" or graffiti. It was not a neighborhood we wanted to be out in after dark. Lots of young men wandering the streets. Not the charm or even close to it as the Plaka. We didn't find many of the few restaurants or tavernas in the area had English speaking staff, but it wasn't a problem. There are many nicer hotels in the same price range closer to the Plaka. We stayed in 4 hotels in Athens and this was the worst area. Would not recommend because of the neighborhood.
“good value 4 money”
very clean, helpful staff. Only bad thing: some rooms on a busy road but it has some kind of sound protection(double glazing), so not really an issue
“Small but cozy”
Great hotel with small but cozy rooms. Located in the Omonia area, who's southern end is bordered with the Plakia/Monasteriki area but who's northern end is more residential and dingy at night. The hotel itself has cozy rooms and our room included a small balcony. Things were clean and well kept.
“good experience”
clean hotel and helpfull staff. firts night no good as air con no working very well plus bedroom window broken. But fortunately next day we changed room with healpful staff. breakfast great.location, good for travellers but surroundings are not great when arrive at night.
“Not so impressed but good enough to recomend”
Could be better if location were other, don't dare to get there by Ommonia metro station äfter dark, try Metaxourgio station instead. Very noisy neigborhood.
