“Superb for the price!”

Very good value for money for a hotel in the centre of Athens. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was filling. Whilst the street its located on is on the 'rough' side I did not feel in any danger even when walking alone at night.

“Great value city hotel.”

Very convenient location, with friendly, helpful staff. Not far from all main attractions and several eating places very close by. Breakfast room is on 7th floor with great views of the acropolis. Good value buffet style breakfast. The bar is supposed to be open from 6.00pm but we did not find it open at all. Very reasonably priced. This is my second stay and would definitely go there again.

“Nice Staff”

This hotel was easy to find from the Monastraki Station. The view from the room was not good but from the restaurant beautiful and worth it. We enjoyed our breakfast while looking over at the Acropolis. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend an attachment for the handheld shower to hang dfrom the wall instead of holding it all the time. However this is a Greek thing, not a hotel thing I have noticed in my two weeks visit.

L'hotel est tout a fait satisfaisant. Bon rapport qualité/prix, mais situé dans un quartier pas très sûr la nuit.

“Proche du centre et direct aéroport”

Cet hôtel est situé près de la station de métro Monastiraki donc dans un quartier animé ayant l'avantage d'être direct pour l'aéroport. L'accueil a l’hôtel a été parfait, la chambre très correcte. Un panier déjeuner nous a été fourni vu notre départ très tôt le matin (avant 7h, heure du petit déjeuner). Rapport qualité/prix correct. Il est vrai que le quartier est un peu chaud; Un conseil pour rejoindre l’hôtel depuis Monastiraki : plutôt que de prendre la rue Athina puis à gauche la rue Evripidou (celle qui craint le + à mon sens), il vaut mieux prendre les petites ruelles : rue Miaouli très animée puis rue Aristophanou très calme, qui vous emmènent pratiquement devant l’hôtel en bas de la rue Evripidou.

“"The view from the top"”

The innkeepers are professional and helpful. The hotel was clean and the lobby and reception area are attractive and well-equipped. The breakfast buffet from the top of the building, looking across at the Acropolis was all wonderful. Given this, and the apparent proximity to the Monistraki metro, I was not prepared for the neighborhood in which the hotel is located. Rather sketchy and not advisable for those who plan to walk from the metro to the hotel, like we did. If you have a car or are using a cab, though, there's absolutely no reason to not stay at the Evripedes. We appreciated everything that the innkeepers have control over.

“Excellent value, good location”

As a single traveller on a budget I was a little worried about reports of the neighbourhood but it was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting, yes a few dodgy characters after dark but we have those in our local Surrey town; I didn't feel threatened at all and the hotel staff are very helpful with their directions and "nicer" routes. I had a lovely yogurt, fruit and coffee breakfast (most tastes catered for) which set me up for the day trekking around Athens. The room was clean and very adequate as a base, the hotel was generally

“Think twice”

The hotel is located in the Psiri District in Athens. The hotel staff do their best to ensure the service is good. We were rather surprised that we were warned by local citizens, cab drivers (2), to be careful at night in this district. once a proud sector of Greece, the District now has criminal activity - reports of men robbing old ladies and tourists. We were hesitant to walk out past 11:00 at night. If security is n issue for you, book your hotel in another district. Overall the hotel is clean and the staff helpful, although they could use some asistance in providing directions. The Monastica suqare is not far, but walking to sites is distant and a taxi is a better way to travel - Ask for the cost first, before taking a taxi - some charged four euros more than others for the same distance.

“Hôtel correct mais dans une rue mal entretenue”

Hôtel correct à proximité de Monastiraki et de l'Acropole mais la rue n'est pas très sécurisante et séduisante a priori. Aucun problème au final à déclarer, en marchant 2 min, on arrive tout de suite dans le quartier pittoresque d'Athènes. Destinées aux personnes qui ne s'angoissent pas à la 1ere minute de croiser des jeunes désœuvrés qui squattent non stop dans la rue mais qui pour mon cas m'ont laissés faire mes allers retours sans problème.
