“Head-on Acropolis view”
Athens Gate is very well-located. It is close to the Acropolis Metro Station and near the Acropolis, the Plaka, and many restaurants and shops. The rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served has a head-on view of the Acropolis and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. The staff were extremely helpful.

“Wonderful views, great location”
I stayed in this hotel in mid Jan with a friend. The biggest selling point is it's location and consequently the wonderful views of the Acropolis and Hadrians Gate from it's roof garden restaurant. Its within very easy walking distance to most main attractions in Athens. Otherwise the hotel was well maintained, the rooms clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was also included in the price(Tip: on weekdays, ask for a cooked breakfast as it's not automatically put out) , and there was a wide selection of hot and cold foods. Overall a definate recomendation, and great vlaue for money.

Athens Gate is in an absolutely ideal location. The staff is well trained, the venue clean. Laurels to the housekeepers.
“Staying at thge Athens Gate Hotel”
The Athens Gate Hotel was in a prime location for seeing the sights of Athens. Our room overlooked the Temple of Zeus, a truly memorable sight to wake up to and then to contemplate at the end of the day. We gazed at the Acropois over breakfast. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The staff of the hotel could not have been more courteous or helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They booked tours, called taxis amd made helpful suggestions throughout our stay. We would warmly recommend that Athens Gate
“Unforgettable stay!”
I loved this hotel. Everything is so accessible by walking. The views are majestic! Staff are very helpful and nice. I requested for a room opposite the Temple of Zeus and they granted it! So happy with that and that made my whole stay so unforgettable. I will definitely recommend and stay in this hotel again.

Very friendly & helpful staff, especially the front desk & bell men. Great location - very near the Placa, Metro Stations & historic sites. Lovely roof top restaurant & a very generous breakfast.

“Unforgettable stay”
Outstanding and extremely responsive staff. A blanket request was fulfilled in less than five minutes. Unbelievable views both from the rooms and the rooftop cafe. Really neat rooms. Would only consider Athens Gate for my next stay in the city. Extremely close to all of the monuments plus the metro station.
“Athens Gate was perfect!”
This hotel was exactly what we wanted. Close enough to walk to the Acropolis, Zeus's Temple, Hadrians Gate, the Plaka and many great restaurants. The staff was very helpful, the complimentary breakfast offered something for everyone and the view from the rooftop garden was breathtaking.
