"I surprised my two friends with this getaway. They knew we were going somewhere, that was all. Two and a half hours later, I pulled up to this property, pretending I was lost and needing gps. While I fumbled looking for the email with the entry code to the gate, my friends giggled and wondered out loud what it must be like to stay at a place “like this”. "Lovely property, very well kept. The bathtubs in the rooms are lovely, with smelly but pleasant mineral water. The showers however, are a bit old, as is some other metal in the bathrooms. The stream is very weak, with only four spews of water. It is still the same mineral water though, which is pleasant. The breakfast is typically a form of scrambled eggs with either sausage or bacon, there is usually a yogurt parfait station, with fresh berries, and there is always oatmeal, toast, and scones....

"Everything was great! More than enough room and great amenities for kids and the 6 adults that met at the house. The yard and hot tub were fantastic! I just wish there was a map or directions on how to get to the waterfall and pond. We were not sure if we could go through the gate to get to them."

"Nice place, well located, great staff, delightful breakfast. Like many older inns, room was pretty small and the electrical system would benefit from some modernizing to accommodate needs of 2020+ info tech. However, they did offer EV charging, which was a real plus. "
