Well needless to say after a long day I went to this Motel 6 in Ann Arbor only to find that it was permanently closed. Will say Expedia did a great job finding me another room to stay in. Recommend updating this location as closed to avoid this situation in the future.

The property does not exist any more. We came to stay there at 11 pm, and found that the motel has closed almost a year ago! DON'T BOOK it! It's out of business. It was a terrible experience to find late at night that you have no place to stay over a super busy parents weekend. We booked it 7 months ago!! And nobody notified us that the place is closed.

I arrived at 12:30am after Expedia confirmed my reservation and the hotel was closed/out of business. I had to stay 45 minutes away after finding my own room because Expedia was no help finding me one.

The hotel was closed down due to Prostitution and human trafficking... I was never notified by anyone of this and had to scramble to find a room .

Definitely a “living out of your suitcase” place (no dressers) but surprisingly low-priced for its convenience to Michigan Stadium, Interstate 94, and Briarwood Mall for food.

It was an inexpensive option for our quick stay in Ann Arbor. Pool is outside so we were unable to utilize it. Staff was very friendly.

originally,Motel 6 charged $6 for each room. The Ann Arbor Motel 6, in 2019, is not worth even that much. The room was filthy, the grounds were dangerous (as evidenced by the woman who was arrested in front of my room at 2am), and the walls were so thin that i could hear the steps of people walking outside. I can say that the stsff were very efficient and helpful to me. Thank you, but you deserve a better plsce of employ.

Ease of access was real nice, the motel was pretty good overall. As far as the property goes, the first room we stayed in had a problem with the Lock that Latches. The latch part on the door fell out by barely touching it. We were moved to a 2nd room. The handle to the door to this room did not open when pushing it down, instead you had to raise it up, Not really a big deal but thought it was worth mentioning. I did bring it to there attention at the front desk. Lastly, the 2nd room we were in started attracting ants in under the door the 2nd door we were there. The housekeeping was Great and sprayed them down right away, stayed 2 more nights with no issues. Overall, good and i'd stay again.

Employees were nice but the place is so bad, it was hard for me to sleep. Room smelled of cigarettes. Tiny bathroom. Few limp pillows and thin blankets. There was a man screaming at his girlfriend in the parking lot. Couldn’t wait to leave.

This place is run down and dirty. The front desk guy was nice, but that's the only good thing I can say. The room smelled nasty, there were stains all over the mattress and ceiling, cigarette butt burns on the floor. Probably the worst hotel I've stayed in.

The staff was great, friendly and helpful. Enjoyed chatting with Maurice at check in. The facility was clean and well kept and the retro decor in the room was a nice touch. The room was clean and everything worked (and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!) The only downside was the funky/musty smell in the room when we first got there (but that isn’t uncommon in older facilities and is why I always bring a diffuser with me.) I would definitely stay there again.

Worst trip ever
I booked my trip a month before I was planning to be in Ann Arbor, only to drive 3 hours to be told they didn't have a reservation under my name. The hotel staff told me I needed to call hotels.com to have it figured out, but they were booked for the night and could not help me. I then called hotels.com was put on hold for 20 minutes. When the customer service rep finally came back she told me someone from the hotel was going to call me to help me figure out what they could do to help me and that she would call back and follow up. 3 hours later I recieved a call from the rep from hotels.com letting me know she couldn't get ahold of motel 6, and that she had called around to other hotels but could not find me a room until the following night. Not one person from motel 6 or hotels.com seemed to care that we were without a hotel room for the night. We ended up making the 3 hour drive back home, and still have not recieved a call from motel 6.

We had to wait over half an hour to get checked in because of issues with a different group. There should be more than one person at the front desk especially during a busy weekend with a lobby full of guests waiting because the motel is having issues. Also every time i went to turn on the sink there were bugs flying around and bugs in the shower. There were pieces of hair and stains all on the toilet seat a black marks all over the floor. The furniture was coming apart and sticking out

Check in smooth as Tobe expected. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. The pool was not maintained and the toilet overflowed each time it was used. Plunging the toilet wasn't my idea of use of facilities.

I wanted to check back out after only being there for 15 to 20 minutes and was told that they cannot put money back on my debit card for 7 to 10 business days I ask because the debit is also considered cash could they give me cash and they told me no and this was due to the fact that I had to change rooms three different times because the bathrooms have pubic hair other people's hair from a different race and the floors were unclean

Would have been better if we pay the $55 that was posted on the front when I drove in as opposed to the 6881 we had to pay because we booked on this site
