Property was tired. It was obvious that local management was forced to "do the best you can" without spending any money to actually keep the property up. Handwritten signs were posted with cellophane tape in the elevators, etc.
Location to U of M Hospital was great. The young gentleman at the reception desk asked if we had any requests, & I told him a room by the pool would be great. He changed where he previously had our room & gave us a room near the pool. Very nice!

The staff was great. Needed several maintenance issues fixed.
I am a Hilton Honors member and this happened to me. Tried to book with them a month ago online when my father went into the hospital and the website screwed it up so I called and the nightly rate went up. Booked with them for my father's funeral online and it booked me for two nights instead of the 5 I needed and scheduled me for the end of May instead of next week. I called and it was straightened out, and the rate went up. After the first call to fix my reservation I was told i should have booked online for the cheaper rate and they apologized because they knew there was a glitch in their website. Same thing this time. When I called to complain they hung up on me when I asked why I should remain a Hilton Honors member and use Hilton hotels every again.
I'm keeping the reservation because of my father's funeral, after this trip I'm canceling my Hilton Honors membership and will never use Hilton again!
The property was clean and in close proximity to the University. Also, the gentleman that checked us in was very professional. Breakfast was great, overall a great stay!
Staff was very nice and accommodating, particularly locating us on the 1st floor as my daughter just had eye surgery and would have had difficulty with stairs.
Breakfast was great, very clean. Staff ensured all menu items were available, never running out.
Location is good, room was dirty and shower head was broken. Also had to move cable box to another outlet because the outlet it was plugged into was bad.
Awesome hotel. I've never seen such an immaculate hotel. The beds and pillows are great and breakfast has decent choices. Ive stayed here a few times and am booked to stay again this weekend. The location is perfect.

The receptionist was rude and charged me $25 taxes extra for coming 30 minutes early, even though the property was pretty empty
Highlights were the breakfast and cleanliness of the room and beds. Certain staff lacked hospitality. It seems to be an older property that has had minor upgrades. We were visiting family all day and just using it to sleep and shower. It served that purpose. It matched expectations for its price point.

Every time I’ve stayed at this property the hot tub is out of order. This is very inconvenient since it’s one of the reasons I choose a property.
I feel this should be added to the site.
Extremely clean and quiet. I checked in at 1:30 and the front desk person was not friendly or welcoming at all. I had the same experience with her on my previous visit. A smile or greeting would go a long way.
The stay started off on the wrong foot because I had forgotten my wallet and the receptionist was adamant that I could not check in with out my ID. Luckily my wife was able to use her ID and check in with a new reservation. Plus I am wheelchair bound so we asked for a handicap room which she immediately fulfilled my request. After a good nights sleep I realized that the receptionist was 100% correct in denying me a room and I apologized to her for my behavior the previous day. Our stay was perfect and most comfortable and I would book here again.
