"The property is going through a renovation to the open area/dining area. The renovation prevents internal walking between the checking area/front desk to the rooms without walking outside. Not really an issue since we really didn’t need the front desk. The renovations should be completed soon (2024). The complementary breakfast is served without too much of an impact. It’s a little tighter but works. Booking through Expedia or third parties prevents points counting towards the Marriott BON-VoY app. The beach is a short and direct walk along a sidewalk. Parking at the beach was limited in the parking lot but 4WD and AWD vehicles are allowed parking on the beach. Not sure if permitting is required. There is a green space walking path from the parking lot. A very nice walk. There are no balconies. This is the only short coming. It would be nice to dry beach wear and towels off a balcony. The staff is outstanding. We look forward to returning."
