"Firstly, ignore the map. The camp is 30 mins away by by boat on a side river off the Amazon surrounded by forest. Absolutely perfect location. Also the price includes various excursions depending on how long you stay including dolphin watching, rainforest walks - but not Iquitos. No shop, take everything you need. Camp is basic but food and staff are great. Noone speaks English at camp, if you don't, take a phrase book. We stayed 3 memorable days. Do the nighttime walk!"

"The room was dark. The overhead light was falling out of the ceiling and did not function. The water pressure was so weak that it was difficult to shower. The room was clean. The air worked. The amenities say it includes free shuttle service from the airport, but I wrote the hotel two days in advance with my flight information and they didn't respond. So, I had to pay for a taxi.
