"The property was a wonderful place to get away and relax. Our dogs were able to run off leash for their first time. They swam in the pond and we hiked in the woods behind the cabin every morning. My wife and I had coffee while enjoying the great view, we made smore's in the firepit and grilled on several occasions. The location was great and was close to a lot of great wineries/breweries that we visited during our stay. I will say that I did make the mistake of not reading all the way through the amenities list and did not realize that the house did not come with towels/washcloths or bed sheets/pillowcases, so just make sure to bring those with you when staying here! "My friends and I stayed here for a few nights as a base to see the eclipse. The cabin had the essentials and is located in a nice, quiet location. Internet is extremely fast and the water was fine once it had been run a little while (as the host mentions). Be aware that the second queen is not in a bedroom - no door/privacy from downstairs and is walk-through to the main bedroom. Kitchen is also not stocked for any meaningful cooking."

"Plumbing was a challenge because couldn’t wash dishes without boiling water and didn’t want to wash ourselves or brush our teeth with the smelly water. Also, the propane only lasted 2 days; was dead on 3rd day (probably because of boiling water). We enjoyed the solitude, even though the road noise is present. All in all it was a pleasant couple days as we lucked out with beautiful weather."
