"This is a solid choice if you are in the area. The hotel isn't cutting edge and your rooms will feel dated with few amenities but there isn't anything "wrong" with any part of the hotel. "Made reservations months in advance for deluxe room. When checking in was told I could only have a basic room because I was traveling with my service dog. Told the price would be reduced, but at check out, I was told I would need to pay for the more expensive room since I booked with Expedia. The basic room was the size of a walk in closet. "We got spectacular winter weather, so the view and balcony were quite wonderful. Reception was particularly welcoming and helpful with our special requests and even managed to sort out a spa treatment at the last minute. I had the small but well-appointed spa/sauna area all to myself, fun and relaxing. Oddly, the room amenities were spare: one liquid soap/shampoo combo product was it, had to rent(!) a spa robe.
