Very kid friendly. We did the Oneiro dinner show, it is truly all inclusive. Definitely recommend booking reservations for dinner as soon as you check in online which is 10 days before arrival.

Overall, we had a great experience at the Bahia Principe Resort in Punta Cana. The resort was beautiful, very clean and well maintained, the food was great, and everything felt smooth and easygoing from start to finish.
The staff were easily one of the best parts of the resort. Everyone we met was incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful, and hardworking. We especially appreciated being able to speak with some of them personally and hear their stories. They shared how hard they work to provide for their families, with some traveling up to two hours from the main city just for the opportunity to work at the hotel. Hearing their stories gave us a much greater appreciation for the people behind the resort. Despite the long commutes and demanding work, they remained genuinely friendly and positive. They deserve all the praise and recognition they can get. So if you have the opportunity to Tip please do, not only will it help them but it will also get you royal treatment.
The only downside is the beach during the summer, when there can be quite a bit of sargassum. If the beach is your main reason for visiting, this is something to keep in mind. The water is generally much clearer from around September through April. The hotel does an excellent job cleaning the beach and removing as much sargassum as possible, but there is only so much they can do when nature keeps bringing it back.
Overall, a beautiful resort with great food and truly exceptional staff who made our stay memorable.
