We were first given a room that had not been cleaned (bed unmade, towels in bathroom on the floor). The second room was better, although the toilet roll was about 1/4 full with no extra roll, and coffee pot did not heat up the water.
The desk clerks were not particularly friendly.
It was nice to have breakfast for free, although nothing hot, except the coffee.

We had the BEST weekend getaway. My only complaint is the pool could definitely use a pool net as there was a lot floating around in it . But that being said everything else was absolutely wonderful!! I HAVE to take a second and brag on Jennifer at the front desk from the warm welcome to ensuring we had the best weekend!! And then David at the Merks bar was SO friendly SO attentive and became a friend that we will come back to see even if we’re not staying in the hotel!!

Excellent place to stay with well appointed kitchen and comfortable bed. The swimming pool was the perfect place to cool off on a hot day along with its shaded cabana area. The location is very convenient for visiting Mountain Brook, Crestline Village and shopping.

I rarely write reviews, but I will share that it was not the stay I expected. The room was pretty dirty - walls, floors etc. The bathroom vanity sink barely drains, there was no hot water for showering and there are cockroaches on the walls. I am pretty disappointed given the advertising. When I shared this with the staff, the only response was that they would share with cleaning crew...no apology and no offer to take care of the space.
