We loved our stay at the Herondale. The property is well-appointed and has a beautiful view and position: just minutes from Astoria, and feels special, remote and secluded. The robes and toiletries are high-end and luxurious, yet the property design is simple and refined. I think for the price, a simple turn-down and replenish service should be included. (we had to ask for this) Note: do NOT forget a bath suit like I did! Very nice hot tub, sauna and cold-plunge. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Stayed 2 nights with the dog, main floor, river view. It was great! The bed was awesome and the water pressure was really awesome. We had a kitchenette that was great. A quick walk to the beach several times a day and for sunset! We actually booked another night after staying in Astoria the night before. They could update the faucets on sink and toilet. They patio railings need some updating but overall it was clean and we Wi-Fi and a tv. Fridge, coffee, ice machine all worked.

Not clean at all. The room smelled like stale dog pee and mildew. Weird furniture was used in the room that really msde no sense and the toilet would fill every 10-15 minutes. Way overpriced for the subpar lodging and area. It appears they have recently "remodeled" but at this point its like lipstick on a pig. The entire place needs a remodel. The receptionist was friendly.

The room were clean, but it was very noisey. You could hear the fans on in the room next to you and when they shut the doors it was loud. It needs to be updated. We tried talking to the staff a couple of times, but their answers were very short and wouldn't talk much. The faucets in the sink wouldn't shut off all the way so you could hear a dripping sound all night long until I put a washcloth in the sink to catch the water drip. The breakfast in the morning was ok. The parking was very tight and limited. For the price we paid I wouldn't stay here again.
