There is no complimentary parking—only valet for $30/night or 2-hour street parking that requires moving your car except on Sundays. At check-in, I was charged a $100 deposit, which I was told would be released within 7–10 business days. The room was clean, but for a hotel at this price point, I was surprised by the lack of basic amenities. There was no microwave, ice bucket, or even a laundry bag. We ordered room service, but there was no menu in the room. The only menu I could find was an outdated spring menu on their official website. I ordered two pizzas, two apple juices, a Sprite, and a beer. The bill was $94. What really frustrated me was seeing a $190.51 charge/hold on my card afterward. When I called, I was told the additional amount was being held in case we used valet or purchased anything else and would take 7–10 business days to be released. No one explained this BEFORE I ordered. For ONE NIGHT, I had $559.61 charged/held on my card: $269.10 for the room, $100 deposit, and $190.51 associated with room service/additional holds. Nearly $560 tied up for one night at a hotel that lacked basic amenities was ridiculous. The additional holds should have been clearly disclosed beforehand. Definitely would not stay here again.

A disappointment. The hotel did not live up to its claims and let us down on several fronts. Check in was abrupt and as mentioned everywhere, the valet parking is astronomically priced, even for Seattle. The room was cramped and impractical, one chair for a double room, the TV up high on a chest of drawers and unwatchable from its perch, bare bulbs in the wall mounted bedside lamps which blind you when used, a lamp pulled in to the curtains making the curtains inaccessible and the lamp constantly topple, charging ports on one side of the bed but nothing provided on the other, flickering light bulbs in the bathroom, the list goes on. Putting up some wallpaper in the bathroom does not make this a designer hotel, whoever did the 'design' clearly forgot to make the rooms functional and practical for guests. The breakfast was even more underwhelming than expected, with scarce availability of any hot foods. The hotel knows how many guests are staying on a given night, so why was the breakfast service failing to keep pace every single day, regardless of what time we attended during the limited service times. On top of this we left behind a charger and it took four chases-ups across a week to get any response from reception and when they eventually assisted they only sent back part of the lost property. Overall, it would appear that the team are not very capable at delivering quality hospitality.
