(2,634 reviews) It was a nice place to visit for the weekend. Staff was friendly and it was clean. Definitely left something to desire when it came to food and drink though! We didn’t learn until we were already there that they only allow 1 dinner reservation for every 3 days of your stay??? WHAT!! So it was buffet for 2 of the 3 nights that we were there. The buffet was OK, nothing special. The coffee served out of a vending machine The Italian place was good for dinner, food was good and we were NOT rushed, but I can’t comment on the other restaurants since we were only allowed to eat at a “Special” Restaurant once during our stay. This hotel has another hotel on property and we were able to use their pool and bars and their buffet for lunch (not certain how that works for dinner though). The all-inclusive alcohol at this hotel DOES NOT INCLUDE TOP SHELF ALCOHOL (what they have of it anyway) there’s an additional $5 charge PER DRINK if you wanted what they call top shelf (Grey Goose, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam…etc) HOWEVER, if you walk to the OTHER hotel’s bars they DO INCLUDE top shelf alcohol??? Just strange since its the same hotel brand just a few minute walk, but definitely a PIA. They lost power a bunch of times while we were there but only for a few minutes each time. The AC in our room was sufficient to keep our room cool, However the AC fan was loud and persistent and my fiancé had a hard time sleeping with it running, but there’s really no choice if you want to keep your room cool. The music is insanely loud at the pool and the beach, all morning and afternoon, definitely not the place to take my elderly mom, but would've been a better vibe with my boyfriend (in our 30s). Over all, I'd give it a 10/10 given the price, but I've traveled to turks and caicos and other islands at 5 star hotels and this wouldn't come close to it. And next time with my mom specifically, I would book an adults only and maybe spend a little more. I would come back here with my boyfriend, though. Next door to us was a family with young kids and we could hear them through the night.. we talked to them and it helped a bit. But hey, sunshine, unlimited drinks, and a huge variety of food, it was a great get away. (3,447 reviews) Overall we had a good time staying in Adults only part of the resort. But a few things make us wonder if we'd come back again. Beach is perfect. Food and drinks good Service is bad. Room was terrible. Beach; best beach with the white sand, clean, plenty lounge chairs under the palm shed. But they let locals use the beach in front of the resort. It would be OK for few people lay down on the send, but on weekend it become so crowded, I counted 104 people just turning my head around, including dozen of kids on adults only area, so it become impossible to stay on the beach. There are no signs to show that is a resort area, especially adults only area. I think a clear sign will help to maintain this issue. Food was good quality and lots of option. Dinner at the restaurants requires reservation which going thru the customer service. Bar was surprisingly good this time. Bartenders were friendly, paid attention and made good drinks. Room is outdated, in terrible condition; bathtub is leaking, water dripping from the ceiling, smells like pee, coffeemaker doesn't work. But A/C was good. Service is terrible as well. No app, no online, everything is going through the phone with a zero result for calling more then dozen times for several days. Only way to fix the issue you have to go to the lobby customer service in person, stay in line, left a tip and then things started changing. For example.
