Really enjoyed the stay but do wish the food places were indoor, all of the buffet were outside technically just under a roof with fans and it was very humid and hot. With that said, the activities were amazing, the beach was stunning, and I overall enjoyed. The casino and night club btw are some of the best I’ve seen as far as resorts go! Very good size for both and both lively with many people

The location was very nice. The rooms can use some updates. The staff was amazing especially Altagracia from Guest Services, Angel the bartender and Jose Luis from the Front Desk. There were many more Staff that were fantastic. We really enjoyed ourselves at the location. The beach was amazing the only thing missing was a bar in the pool.

The staff was absolutely stellar, and the property was breathtaking! My room was not very clean when I first arrived with my pillows lacking pillow cases, and there was an odd smell which I believe may have just been their cleaning products. However, these things were quickly remedied and everyone was more than helpful! The buffet option was my favorite out of all of the dining options. Be sure to make your reservations for all the others, as they fill up fast!

Our Room was horrible. It was old, dirty and disgusting. The property in general was nice. The staff was nice, except one person at the check in desk, who was outright rude. Also, 2 ladies at the Gift Shop were extremely inattentive - they couldn`t have cared less for any customers in the store. The room was a huge disappointment for such a place.

It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great. Only 20min from the airport. Overall the property is upkept and nice. Pools and beach are great. At check-in we were given rooms keys that didn’t work and then we were given keys to someone else’s room who we walked in on. Front desk was unapologetic and we got nothing in return. Food lacks in quality but that’s kind of normal in D.R.? Our flights got moved for departure and transportation service that was booked through Expedia canceled on us and didn’t pick us up. We had to get a taxi. I think I would stay here again for the right deal.

The overall large grounds were well maintained-pools and beaches were amazing. However, there appeared to be a major plumbing issue with water sometimes not working & other times drainage/flushing not working properly. I traveled with a group of people with 4 different rooms in various buildings-all experiences these issues. Also no swim up pool bar or snacks served at adult only beach side. Food was mediocre at best —even at reservation required restaurants.

Only thing was the signage or lack of. Just could have been better. Also we thought there might be some available information about activities outside the resort in the lobby. Check in and out was a breeze. Service outstanding. Food was excellent. Chez gourmet was a bit underwhelming especially with the enforced dress code. The other restaurants were all exceeding our expectations. The beach was amazing and it shows the effort and pride the staff puts into it. The property in general was spotless with crews always working to keep it up. Been to other resorts seeing peeling paint and rust. Not here. Food choices were unbelievable as was the quality. THE PROS THE STAFF, THE AMENITIES, THE RESORT, BEAUTIFUL, AS WELL AS THE BEACH. THE CONS THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. JUST DISGUSTING THAT I WAS SO EXCITED TO COME HOME AND COOK FOOD. We got there the first day. Ate at the barissa stay away from that restaurant on the resort the food was so bad that I wouldn’t feed that to my worst enemy. Then started eating at the caribbe everything is uncovered. Every single dish has either minced deli meat. The food is extremely low quality and even the bread tasted like it was there for months it was so stale. I cannot express you how bad the food was. To top it off there was roaches walking on the floor. Then on our last day, we decided to pay to go to Kyoto the sushi house on the other resort wow I cannot tell you how awful that was, the rice was so extremely mushy and the calamari was full of tendons and it was pulley and so chewy I can’t explain how bad it was. I was so grossed out. Come on Dominican this is embarrassing. How is this resort serving rice like this. The food was so low quality!!!!! Been to Jamaica Negril or Montego so many times. Everything is covered. Everything is sanitary at so many resorts there. Their rice is on point. They have so many amazing foods with flavour and sauces that they cook in front of you. Dominican the food was horrific, low quality. It’s unfortunate because a lot of people around us were complaining at these restaurants. How bad the food was.

Very nice resort. Most of the good stuff is located on the family side of the resort so we had a good way to walk to get to it. Wish they would play music throughout the day and have better entertainment for the adult only section. Housekeeping was not the best. It was hard to get more washclothes and towels at times. Our bathroom was also not cleaned and the tub and sink filled with water making it really hard to use. Overall, very beautiful and nice property it could just use some work.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. The spa was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of my trip. The buffet wasn’t my favorite, as I felt the food could have been better. However, the à la carte restaurants that require reservations were all very good, and I had great meals there. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely consider staying here again.
