Our Room was horrible. It was old, dirty and disgusting. The property in general was nice. The staff was nice, except one person at the check in desk, who was outright rude. Also, 2 ladies at the Gift Shop were extremely inattentive - they couldn`t have cared less for any customers in the store. The room was a huge disappointment for such a place.

El Hotel tiene la ubicación excelente es muy tranquila la zona de solo adultos para disfrutar de la tranquilidad, el silencio y tu pareja. Sin embargo, todos los restaurantes principales que abren a deshoras están en el otro Hotel, en el Palace que se encuentra a unos 10-15 minutos caminando, aunque también tienes un servicio de tren.

El servicio de limpieza a la habitacion fue excelente, todos los días . Las mesas buffet muy variados los alimentos . Al igual que las bebidas . El staff en general muy atento , amables y serviciales pero algunos les faltaba más entusiasmo y disponibilidad en su servicio . Recomendación mejorar las actividades recreativas , y de participación . Realizar más shows de entretenimiento en el propio hotel , que es solo para Adultos , , y debíamos trasladarnos al otro hotel , para asistir a la Disco o al Cassino . Por lo general una estadía espectacular e inolvidable ! Lo recomiendo y si volvería a visitarlo !!

This was an excellent place to stay abroad. We felt safe, and there were a ton of amenities going on: kayaking, beach, pool, free drinks. Top notch place. We will definitely come back. Barcelona palace is for families and Barcelona beach is for adults only.

The location was very nice. The rooms can use some updates. The staff was amazing especially Altagracia from Guest Services, Angel the bartender and Jose Luis from the Front Desk. There were many more Staff that were fantastic. We really enjoyed ourselves at the location. The beach was amazing the only thing missing was a bar in the pool.

A nuestra llegada reservé en todos los restaurantes para toda nuestra estancia pero después de las primeras dos noches cancelé todas las demás, el buffet es mucho mejor que cualquiera de sus restaurantes especializados. 3 Star Experience for 5 Star Price Beautiful beach and resort grounds, but overall this felt much closer to a 3-star experience than true 5-star luxury. The positives: the beach is gorgeous, the property is tropical and well maintained, rooms were clean and comfortable, Staff were generally friendly despite limited English, and Richard Avelino at Santa Fe provided some of the best service we experienced anywhere on the resort. The negatives were mostly organization and service related. The resort is massive and very easy to get lost in. Maps are poor and the train system desperately needs clearer signage. Restaurant reservations were frustrating — many restaurants were booked immediately or only available very late, even during a 9-day stay. The system feels outdated for a “luxury” resort. Food was hit-or-miss. Some buffet items were undercooked or poorly prepared, or simply RAW and breakfast service was consistently slow and understaffed. Bar service was inconsistent as bartenders were sometimes distracted or slow to serve guests. The “all inclusive” advertising also felt misleading since several restaurants required additional payment. Dress shorts were not allowed at some restaurants requiring pants, which felt excessive in the heat. Overall, we still enjoyed the vacation because the beach and scenery are beautiful, but the hospitality and organization did not match 5-star expectations.

Second time at this property. Premium guest. Staff is very friendly, nice and helpful all the way to Director Sandy Pfeil. There were some minor issues that make the stay good but not excellent, but staff was receptive and helpful to fix them. I will be back in the future.

The gym facility did not have enough equipment. Very crowded early in the morning opens at 8 AM. Food was very poor quality almost seemed like they used food from the day before for lunch at the buffet. Staff is fantastic Maria that works at the buffet provides excellent service to all vacationers. They need more music at the beach and around the pool entertainment was fair. Will probably try a different resort next year. Being a repeat customer, they place us in a building furthest from all the amenities not too happy with that.

It is what you make of it. It's really big but train comes every 20 min.
