Very welcoming & attentive staff. Helpful & answered all our questions. My husband wanted to taste an authentic Chimi & they set up the transportation to go, the driver stayed with us the whole time we were off resort. He didn’t rush us, we ended up out for over 2 hours.

Great Experience at Barceló Bávaro Beach! We recently stayed at Barceló Bávaro Beach, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well-organized and accessible. The Staff: The team here is highly professional, respectful, and always ready to help with a smile. Their attention to detail really stood out. Facilities & Beach: The beach is breathtaking, and both the beach and pool areas were pristine, orderly, and very easy to navigate. Activities: There was always something fun to do, with well-structured activities that kept things lively but relaxed. Everything was clean, accessible, and perfectly coordinated. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to come back!

Really enjoyed the stay but do wish the food places were indoor, all of the buffet were outside technically just under a roof with fans and it was very humid and hot. With that said, the activities were amazing, the beach was stunning, and I overall enjoyed. The casino and night club btw are some of the best I’ve seen as far as resorts go! Very good size for both and both lively with many people

Everything about this resort was top notch. The premier package was such a great deal- the food, drinks, activities, and space was all worth it. We had friends over on the palace side (for families) and it was also amazing to have access to the amenities there. You never have to leave the resort unless you want to do an excursion, but they’ll pick you up in the lobby!!! Can’t say enough good things about this trip. And for sure get a shuttle/ride from the airport to resort and back and give yourself at least 3 hours!

The hotel itself was very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. However, the staff was very rude. Anytime you asked a question they were not helpful. However, the people who cleaned my room were very nice and always helpful. This hotel upcharged for everything. In order to get to the front of the hotel you had to pay extra money each time which wasn’t fair. The food was also horrible. I will not be returning here.

The location was very nice. The rooms can use some updates. The staff was amazing especially Altagracia from Guest Services, Angel the bartender and Jose Luis from the Front Desk. There were many more Staff that were fantastic. We really enjoyed ourselves at the location. The beach was amazing the only thing missing was a bar in the pool.

The staff was absolutely stellar, and the property was breathtaking! My room was not very clean when I first arrived with my pillows lacking pillow cases, and there was an odd smell which I believe may have just been their cleaning products. However, these things were quickly remedied and everyone was more than helpful! The buffet option was my favorite out of all of the dining options. Be sure to make your reservations for all the others, as they fill up fast!

Our Room was horrible. It was old, dirty and disgusting. The property in general was nice. The staff was nice, except one person at the check in desk, who was outright rude. Also, 2 ladies at the Gift Shop were extremely inattentive - they couldn`t have cared less for any customers in the store. The room was a huge disappointment for such a place.

It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great. Only 20min from the airport. Overall the property is upkept and nice. Pools and beach are great. At check-in we were given rooms keys that didn’t work and then we were given keys to someone else’s room who we walked in on. Front desk was unapologetic and we got nothing in return. Food lacks in quality but that’s kind of normal in D.R.? Our flights got moved for departure and transportation service that was booked through Expedia canceled on us and didn’t pick us up. We had to get a taxi. I think I would stay here again for the right deal.
