A warm welcome from reception staff on arrival. We had a family dinner in the Whisky Room and the service provided was outstanding. We loved our evening and overnight stay.

I stayed at the property for one night with my sister for a girly overnight break during my visit back to my homeland of Scotland. Our family is from Glasgow and I know the city well.
The stay was fine. Room got the job done with a good high quality bed and pillows and hot, high pressure shower. Beyond that, it was a bit underwhelming. There was no tea in the tea point of the room, I had to call down to request bath robes, and the room door had no draft excluder — the door was so high off the floor we could see the hallway carpet pattern from inside our room.
The staff were apathetic, the check in guy barely looked at us and did not tell us about the Expedia VIP perk I knew we were entitled to. We didn’t feel terribly welcome so we just went out and didn’t even bother asking about it.
All in, 2/5 and I would not be back.

The best thing about the hotel was the reception staff, particularly Matthew, who responded to our requests and needs, everyone’s friendly and willing to help. Hotel is well kept, modern and very convenient to Central Glasgow. Great shower. Lots of well placed electrical outlets. Difficult to use any of the hooks if you are under 5‘5“.
