« not a comfortable environment at all, cabin was full of bugs and cob webs everywhere, have to pay for guest’s to come visit. They say speed limit 5 mph but they zoom around on go carts going past cars, then tell the cars to slow down, because you’re not white!!!!!!! Most horrible experience ever!!! Then got police called on us as well!!!!! »

« It was very relaxing. The place was very clean and accurate described. Ann Marie was very nice and very helpful. She willingly shared her knowledge and her grapes and plums as well. The only disappointment was not being able to catch a salmon. One day I will. The place itself is all I expected from a cabin on a lake. And for us the stair climb wasn’t that difficult. Loved the use of the rowboat and canoe.i definitely would stay again. We enjoyed. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lake, it was just what we needed. Beautiful view, quiet, spacious, and everything else we needed. We traveled the wine trail a bit, purchased a lot of wine, and had dinners at Wolffy’s around the bend. Hanging outside on the deck watching the birds and enjoying the peace. « The place was nicely remolded and looked like the photos. However, there was a terrible bug problem. You could not open the doors once it got dark out because hundreds of bugs would get in!! The counter tops would be filled with dead bugs the next morning. We would have to clean and vacuum a bunch of times. They seem to be trying to fix it by putting bug lights in the house. « No instruction and no one upon arrival. A nice couple showed up later with all instructions, an email prior arrival would have been appreciated. « Camp Shah was a fantastic getaway for our extended family. We had such a great time swimming, kayaking, sitting around the fire and playing cards on the screen porch. The only suggestions I have is that the 100lb weight limit on the bunk beds should definitely be listed, and also possibly an upgrade to the refrigerator. Other than that, the property was wonderful and the owners were super responsive, friendly and helpful. I'd rent it again. »

« We stayed here for two nights with some family. The place was clean. It was just as advertised in VRBO! We would definitely stay here again! The only thing that could have been a little bit better was communication from the owner about check-in. We didn't get check-in instructions until late the night before we were travelling, but it all worked out. Great time had by all in our group! »

« My friends and I absolutely loved sitting outside on the deck (minus the spiders). It was so relaxing sitting to watch the sunrise while we had breakfast and coffee. We enjoyed using the kayaks. The location was perfect for us to explore the area. It was a little off putting to have to pay a cleaning fee, while being asked to strip the beds, start a load of laundry and sweep/vacuum the house.If being asked to clean, why pay the fee? « Home is beautiful, nicely laid out, well-stocked, and comfortable for 6 adults and 5 small-ish kids. The kids loved having the basement to themselves. The adults had plenty of room too.
