« The neighbourhood is in need of serious renovation compared to other districts in St. John’s. The apartment also needs overhaul. Everything is substandard. It's dark. Various minor repairs are required. Decoration and furniture are old-fashioned and have no charm. Even towels are frayed and gray from overwashing. It is not a place where one feels at home. We ended up leaving after just one night. We asked for a partial refund to no avail. »

« This was a great place to stay! It is in a great location to day trip to most of the Avalon Peninsula including St. John’s. You are so close you could walk to 3 whale watching tours and for the adventurous it is a 4km walk to the Bay Bulls lighthouse on the East Coast Trail. The balcony looks out over Bay Bulls which was great for the never ending search for whales (bring binoculars).
