« I liked the quiet neighborhood. Parking was a little tight and had to back out of a fairly steep driveway onto the main road, but there was little traffic so not too bad. Beds were comfortable. My biggest concern was finding hairs and a small piece of a soap bar on the upstairs shower floor. The shower was obviously not cleaned properly, if at all. That was gross! »

« We enjoyed our stay. The outside area wasn’t cleaned prior to us arriving so there was a lot of debris all over the decks, tables ,chairs and in the pool. There are alot of trees so it’s a given that debri is expected. Over all we had a great vacation and it was so quiet and peaceful. Colleen was very responsive and helpful when I need to contact her. »

« This little house was in a beautiful location, right in the forest. You can see the trees out of every window and skylight! We liked that this was private and a bit out of town. This was a good home base for seeing the redwoods and beaches both to the north and south. The beds were very cozy and we had everything we needed for our family of 6. »

« Very clean and beautiful structure. The pictures on the site make you think you will have a river view and maybe even be able to walk out to the river. That is not real. It’s a short hike or a drive to the river. Not a huge deal but we were a bit surprised. The fireplace smokes up the entire home. We turned off the the heat and it still did it. Fireplace is beautiful and heated the room but smoke was everywhere!!! Other than that, I would stay there again! »

« We love staying at Jane’s Cottage! It’s cozy, clean, and well-appointed. It’s very close to campus, so it’s perfect for visiting my daughter who is a student there. The communication with the property manager is remarkably prompt and attentive. We’ve stayed two times so far, and look forward to staying again! »

« Great location. The cabin is next to some other cabins, not sure if they’re rentals, or other people who live on the property. So it wasn’t quite as private as I was anticipating. But over all it was a great place to stay for a few days. It might be a little tricky to find if you arrive after dark. »

« This location is tucked in to McKinleyville, and is spacious, clean, and quiet. It is located on the same property as the owners but that was no problem for me and my family. Also the driveway gets muddy when it rains, but otherwise the pace was great. Well equipped, clean, and cozy. Would stay again. »

« Our stay was so fun! There was room for everyone and the house is quirky-cool and comfy. We loved walking around the neighbourhood. We saw goats! chickens! Red lizards! Friendly, fluffy doggos.
