« No one answered the phone. When I got there, it was clearly being renovated and not ready to take on customers. Not a soul there. I booked it nearly two weeks out, and my getaway was a bust because I couldn't even get in. Why is it up to be booked when it is clearly not ready for customers. Ruined my holiday weekend getaway. Will not recommend. »

« The room is basically an apartment. It's on a brook and you can hear it from the second floor. Homemade breakfast. 6 different kinds of fresh fruit. Omelet and bacon with jam and English muffin.
Mike the host is owner operator and a fantastic guy!!
Huge sunken family room... dining room for breakfast. Coffee. Full kitchen in room. View is outstanding. Wildlife is abundant!! »

« Very dirty and sticky floor... white sox became black... disgusting to walk bare feet.
It's the basic to have a clean floor. Says a lot about the establishment.
No respect for the clients.
The breakfast was extremely vapid.
The next morning we made our own breakfast in the room with basic stuff...
Hotel not recommended !! »

« As a native visiting the area, I was pleasantly surprised to see this historic hotel listed on Expedia. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the Armed Forces Parade right outside the hotel — perfect street location!
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was fabulous. I also loved the skylight, which added a unique touch to the room and atmosphere.
My only suggestion would be to add an additional interior lock for added security. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and...
