« When walking in the house there was a terrible smell, it was extremely musty smelling. It was extremely hot when we were there and the AC was not on. When we turned them both on (window units) the breaker blew and most of the house was dark. Fortunately the owners did respond to my message to let us know where the electrical panel was. The place does not sleep 12 like advertised (id say 3 couples and 1 single). Luckily we drove an RV, since we had to have 2 people sleep out there. Also had to...

« This is a great location if you want to check out the lake superior Lakeshore, as well as Bayfield and Madeleine Island. Everything is very conveniently located you can walk to most places in Ashland right from the place. The apartment is pretty basic with kitchen items, but enough to do what you need to do. Very comfortable bad and very quiet. »

« The cottage looks nice in photos and they do keep it as clean as they can; however, it is very rundown. We were bothered by the strong smell of fabric softener (gives us migraines) and mildew. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom narrow and dark, and overall, we just had “the creeps” the whole time. So much so that we left early. Honestly, we expected more for the price. You can find better options in the area for what we paid. »

« The jacuzzi tub and the fireplace were the best parts of this condo. The bed is comfortable too (but squeaky—not saying this as a negative, but just mentioning for knowledge lol.)

« Sweet little place, clean and comfortable for our two night stay. The small refrigerator was enough for our purpose of eating breakfast only but the freezer was small and didn’t hold our container. Counter space is limited for personal products. But the location is central to many attractions and the fire pit is stacked with wood for an enjoyable evening. »
