"Nous sommes arrivés peu avant que l'orage éclate : barrière de la langue (même Google traduction ne suffisait pas), humidité au maximum dans la chambre, toutes nos affaires étaient humides et il y avait des limaces dans la salle de bain et même dans la chambre le matin. Le petit déjeuner est bon mais très cher. La vue devait être belle mais la brume nous empêchait de voir les paysages "

"The view was amazing, the staff was so kind and friendly and went above and beyond to be accommodating. The breakfast that was included was also delicious and we had dinner at the home stay one night which was good and reasonably priced. I would definitely come back here again and recommend it to everyone "

"First of all let me compliment the Staff. The owners were great, nothing was too much bother. They answered every need and such lovely people. The room was clean, serviced and made up every day. The breakfast and other meals you could order were excellent. The views and scenery are stunning. Great location for Trekking. The town is only 15 minutes away in a taxi. Use grab taxis as they are cheaper. You can book tours and trek leaders from the local community. Sapa City is lovely. The hotel...

"We lived our stay here (3 nights). Loan, Ben and the rest of the staff were amazing. We particularly enjoyed the motorbike tour but really enjoyed everything. The lodge is in a great area in the countryside and was very peaceful. A plus stay - we will be back. "

"The place is pretty basic but has a rustic feel about it. Bring your own honey or jam for the morning as they down’s supply it. Also you have to pay for coffee even when breakfast is included. At my level of room the washrooms were quite a distance from the room and needed an upgrade. However, if you like the rustic, village type, and want to make your own breakfast then this is the place. "Pu Luong was a great place to visit. Our room had a great deck over looking mountains and tiered rice paddies. Hotel staff were super helpful and friendly and gave us all sort of great ideas for us take off on self guided adventures. We were stoked to rent the scooters ant the hotel - and explore the valleys. "Book your stay now! The staff and accommodations were impeccable. We communicated before arrival and they arranged an airport transfer for us. While there is some construction next door, it was never an impediment to our stay. The hotel accommodated us with discounted meals and services. The staff had great food and tailoring recommendations. The buffet had great food selections, including a Banh Mi and Pho station. The room was comfy and very clean. I would book again. "
"My family and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Everything about the property was excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding. The beach is right across the street from the hotel entrance. I highly recommend staying here!"
"What a beautiful hotel! The amenities were great. I loved the view of the city from the rooftop restaurant and the live band. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. "
"We booked the Corner Han River View room and really enjoyed our 4D3N stay. The room view was fantastic and the rooftop pool was definitely a highlight. Breakfast was decent but did not particularly wow us.
Unfortunately, our experience with Hotels.com was very disappointing.
After booking, my reservation stated that the room was a smoking room. As I am sensitive to cigarette smell, I immediately contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com. Hotels.com informed me that there were no non-smoking rooms available in the same category and suggested I downgrade to a lower category room while paying even more than my original booking price.
Unsure about this, I contacted the hotel directly and was told that non-smoking rooms were available. Upon check-in, the hotel staff even confirmed that all rooms in the hotel are non-smoking rooms.
Had I followed Hotels.com’s advice, I would have paid extra unnecessarily and ended up with a lower category room.
This is not my first bad experience with them. Previously, several of my reward nights expired despite me being a frequent user, and no proper explanation was given.
The hotel itself was great, but this experience has made us lose trust in Hotels.com completely."
