Cozy up around the outdoor firepit with seating. Please note that the firepit is shared with guests in the other suite. The photos don't do justice to how special this place is. The house is beautiful, spacious and elegantly furnished. The forest gardens are delightful, and during our stay, covered in woodland wild flowers. Sitting in the hot tub, while stargazing and listening to a chorus of frogs will remain a life long memory. There is a spectacular deck and living room and a great dining room area ideal for a relaxing and peaceful visit with friends and family. We found the beds very comfortable, and the home is beautifully appointed with cozy lounge furniture and rustic vintage decorations. Our host, who stayed in their own suite on site, was friendly, attentive and welcoming, but also gave us our privacy. The venue serves as a great base for a visit to Victoria and surroundings, if you like a retreat from the busy city vibes. I would strongly recommend this listing. ##### Gunther K. The property managers were attentive to additional needs. The kitchen could use some more accessories, as we cooked elaborate meals during our stays. There was toothpaste spit on the faucets in the bathroom, the bathroom fan was very dirty clogged with dust, there was dripped liquid dried onto the front of the oven, and a chip left under the coffee table in the living room. There were also a number of things missing; a dish cloth, few utensils, BBQ brush, and there were only enough towels for one per person even though there was a hot tub. It would be nice to have a towel for the hot tub and a different towel for the shower. The host was pleasant although they did wake me up at 7am one morning knocking on the door which was not appreciated. Wildlife around the yard was nice to see. The deck was fantastic with the seating and hot tub. ##### Mike G.
