Our hosts were very helpful and had good suggestions for dining and points of interest. Interesting golf courses for pros or beginners. Lack of tourist shopping in Sooke, but great hiking areas. The gorgeous sunrises and sunsets were a magical part of the day. Location is perfect for exploring Sooke, many nearby beaches, and the westcoast trail. Local restaurants are terrific.
