"great rooms, staff and food, wonderful setting highly recommend"

We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. There were spiders and a centipede in the room but it was fine once we removed the critters. Lots of farm sounds with roosters, barking dogs...

"The location it’s far away from downtown, and the transportation it’s limit and expensive.. if you travel with family it’s not convenient because of the transportation and lack of restaurants around … the staff and the owner it’s super nice .. but they don’t clean and I rooms are not clean enough… "

"We had a fantastic time at Flamingo Cat Ba! Our concierge, Tran, was always super helpful and friendly coming with recommendations for what to do on the island and also sorting out bookings and scooter rentals for a good price. The views from this hotel are next to none, wake up to sunrise over Ha Long Bay, absolutely magical! And the breakfast and dinner buffet was very varied and tasty. 10/10 experience🙌"
