« This was probably the most ideal self catering property my daughter and I have stayed in since we started annual visits to Dartmouth in 1998. We loved the location, peaceful yet just a short drive to the town. The accommodation was spotless, spacious and provided everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and the free range eggs, milk and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam were an unexpected treat. A delightful stay in every way. »

« We were a family group of grandparents, children, grandchildren and the house was perfect for us all. We especially liked that one young family could sleep in one area of the house and the other family in a slightly different area which avoided everyone being up once the youngest was awake. The bedrooms were all comfortable and lots of bathrooms which we love as a family. The kitchen/conservatory area is fabulous and far bigger than the pictures lead you to believe. « Beautiful place to spend Christmas. Serene, with the waves crashing below. It felt very christmassy especially with the tasteful decorations that had been arranged at the property. It has a very well stocked kitchen, is very comfortable and clean – it’s just the perfect to hang out and cook. Lovely walks close by and a shortish stroll in to Salcombe. I have been here a few times previously and hope to come many times more… »

« Staying in the lovely cottage in Shaldon was an absolute delight! The accommodation itself is excellent and close to amenities. The village boasts a bakery, inviting pubs, and the fantastic Clipper restaurant, ensuring there's never a shortage of delicious dining options. « The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property. »

"Bathrooms badly need upgrading. Caulk between some of the tiles need cleaning. Edge of bathroom door has chipped paint. Old style heaters do not work. Staff were excellent and brought up a space heater for the room. Sorry - cannot understand the questions that are only in Francais"
