« This is a lovely and well equipped cottage though was a little chilly the night with a heavy frost (until we located the heater!) It was also a bit confusing to locate, as it is up several driveways, past other houses, but we got there without too much trouble! »

« Friendly staff, nice room in general. Getting to the facility was difficult due to recent traffic changes. Despite instructions, I got lost almost every time returning to the room. Bed matress was very well worn, body indents present on each side, probably time for a refresh. Pillows were flat. Large roach in the shower and bug bites while in the room, hopefully just mosquitos. »

« The air conditioner was broken and there was no heating from the second day and it was cold. The battery of the electronic key ran out and I couldn't put it in for about 2 hours. I contacted the owner in a hurry, but it was a pity that he prioritised his errands and did not respond immediately. ( It may be normal in New Zealand, but it was very uneasy for people who came from abroad for the first time) »

« Wonderful spot very well equipped for all our needs. We loved the honesty box to buy extra snacks if needed. Lovely views and relaxing space. The beds were extremely comfy and cosy. Bonus being able to bring our dogs, but would love to come back without them. Lovely reserve not far where the kids could play on the riverbed and lots of walks nearby. Summer must be beautiful with all the hydrangeas in bloom! »

« The tiny home is very tiny. Upon arrival the place was hot from the sun, and very dusty under the bed and dead bugs in the window sills. Glad we like camping, felt like that with the chemical toilet, minus the fire pit and bbq. Lots of windows but location is directly between two houses and on a busy road, not in a backyard with privacy to sit out without feeling like you are sitting in a stage. Ad is inaccurate, and host doesn’t respond till 12 hours later and a second contact attempt??? ...
