« Well Taylor River Lodge is just absolutely amazing. Everything we needed for the perfect active persons getaway: Biking, Hiking, Fly fishing, rafting, bird watching, meals provided, itinerary and activity transportation arranged by staff, fabulous guides and wonderful staff catering to ones every need including provided meals, spa services and a swimming pool, hot tub, steam room, dry sauna and yard games, not to mention the wonderful river side cabins which where delightful to fall asleep in. ...

« Diane and I highly recommend this property. From the owners, Brent & Diana to the beautiful location nestled between 2 mountain ranges to the abundance of wildlife to the comfortable cabin. « Cozy property minutes to Mt Princeton hot springs. We spent the weekend with family and had a great time. The house was fully stocked for cooking meals and the house has the perfect mountain home feel. One very minor thing is the basement was very cold. It took a day for the space heaters to warm up the place and it was fine after this. Overall we loved it! »

« Our stay was an excellent experience for the entire family! This house has everything we needed to enjoy the Colorado Mountains including the fishing pond with lots of fish. The location is great for the nearby hot springs, rafting and towns of Salida and Buena Vista. The beds were comfortable and the back deck was a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning and the stars after dark. If you are looking for a great place for your family to relax and un plug, this is the place to go to. »

« This was our second time staying here and it was just a good and the first time. The location and coziness of the house is perfect. It could use a good deep cleaning but it wasn’t anything terrible. Mainly just noticed the cleanliness of the floors. Will be back again hopefully sooner than later! »

« This the perfect place for a family vacation in the middle of the beautiful Collegiate peaks. The cabin was wonderful for large gatherings. We comfortably slept 9 adults with room for more. It was very clean and right in the middle of fishing, white water rafting, hiking trails and very close to snow skiing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. The owner was so responsive with ideas for groceries, restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful time. »

« Came for a short stay celebrating a birthday. Kids came, May snow came (17” total over the weekend). We weren’t planning on snow, but still made the best of it. Still enjoyed sight-seeing and the BV area (disc golfing, actual golfing, indoor wall climbing, shopping, cool restaurants) We will visit again as this has quickly become a favorite place for us. »

« This was our second time staying and it's one of the most well stocked vacation rentals we've stayed at. They have thought of everything. It's a wonderful spot. "This is a relatively new build, that is very spacious, but still feels a bit unfinished. Pluses: Lots of space. Updated appliances. Steam room and hot tub. Gorgeous views. Minuses: The parking area and walk to the door was a giant mud pool: very difficult with kids. The water from the tap has softener in it and gave us stomach issues. The water from the fridge smells. Bring bottled water to drink unless the owners tell you that something has been fixed. The fireplace was not working. We were told literally less than 24h before check-in, and as we were already on our way to Crested Butte. Negotiating about that with the property manager felt like being bullied. It required arbitration from VRBO and made our check-in immensely stressful. There weren't enough comforters and blankets for all advertised beds nor enough hot tub towels for all guests. Max occupancy numbers need to be lowered, or more blankets and towels should be provided. A dust pan would have been nice as well."
