Set in the quiet of West Shore Lake Tahoe, our home is 2 Blocks from the nearest of 4 pure sand public beaches, all within walking distance! We're away from the crowds: ideal for quiet, or, if your group likes to make a little noise! Only 4 homes can be seen on the entire block across our street (the rest is forest) and we have only one neighbor's house next to our home: 2 sides of our home face open woods, and our four decks let you enjoy the forest next door & behind us. The 2000 acre Sugar Pine State Park adjoins our tiny town of 950 on 2 sides, only 1 block's walk to the West OR 2 blocks South to enter State Park, while our 4 beaches are from two to six blocks East. The State Park has a MILE LONG quiet BEACH, to contrast with the fun "beach center" in Meeks Bay, less than a mile south, with its marina, boat/jet ski rentals, snack shops, or try Chamber's Landing beach & grill a few blocks to the north. Our little town of TAHOMA has 4 places to eat, a full service market, and even an amphitheater with free outdoor summer movies (bring a blanket, popcorn provided!). Our tiny town is called Tahoma. (Map with our listing may not be accurate) Tahoe City and its many tourist spots is 8 miles north, and South Lake Tahoe with its Casinos is 19 miles south. For winter fun we're in the center of Tahoe's 16 Ski Resorts, from 2.5 miles away to 45 minutes to the farthest of Tahoe's 16 ski areas. Nature lovers like our four state parks including Emerald Bay, all 4 parks from just 300 yards away to within 10 miles, for you to enjoy by car, hike, boat, or by using the 25 bikes we provide! In winter enjoy our 10 sleds and snow disks!
