Communication and check-in/out with Oliver was easy. Great location for visiting Summerland, a charming beach town. My son lives right up the street so super convenient. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, P.O., coffee, and convenience store. Easy walk to the beach park. Would definitely come again. The main street was charming, close to the unit, full of very friendly and helpful people, and good local restaurants. Lookout Park (with beach access) is very great and within easy walking distance (8-10 minutes) and driving access. It's a great location for taking day trips in the area; the parking lot is adjacent to the unit; and the managers are just terrific. For me the location was the problem -- It is right on Hwy 101, with lots of highway traffic and construction (M-F) noise. Soundproofing in the unit is very good, as long as the window stays closed. The closest green spaces for relaxing are two parks (about 8-10 minute walks from the unit). In sum, the unit itself was just as described but the location was not calm and restorative as I had hoped. However, it would be perfect for someone who doesn't mind the ambient noise or need an adjacent greenspace for relaxing. ##### Debra S.
