The neighborhood was okay and within walking distance to several restaurants. When we arrived to the property, we had some major issues with cleanliness. We vacuumed up tons of dog hair and dog food ourselves and contacted the owner. He sent the cleaners to come and clean the next day and also refunded the $150 cleaning fee. When we arrived the refrigerator was also not working. The owner did get someone to go buy a mini fridge and bring it, but it was the following night before we got it. The ceiling fan in the middle queen bedroom did not work and there was no mirror in this room. We blew the breaker in one of the bedrooms because we didn’t know we couldn’t have the air conditioner on while running the blow dryer. We did not have access to the breaker box so we had to wait for someone to come reset it. The rental was roomy for the five of us, the decor was nice, and the beds were comfortable. Comfortable beds and nice layout for our family to relax and enjoy a meal together after sightseeing. Great communication with the host making the stay easy and enjoyable. The location was great and walkable, or a short drive, to many restaurants and nightlife. The check-in was so easy and our host checked-in with us to see if we needed anything. The neighborhood was great and there were tons of great food options within walking distance. The home was spacious and beautifuly decorated. There is plenty of on street parking. The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances and utensils for cooking, but was missing coffee grounds as listed in the description. Lovely period house in a stylish and vibrant area with boutique shops, bars and coffee shops , Just 3 miles from the Arch. Good local buses for 1 per ride. Matei couldn’t have helped us more as a host.
