"Loved the cabin. The owners thought of everything from phone chargers to coffee to warm blankets for lounging on the porch. Also toothpaste and toothbrush in the bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. The only issue was the very tricky driveway entrance where rain had washed away part of the drive. This caused my husband major heartburn every time we left and returned. We will definitely rent again IF the drive is repaired. Enjoyed a great afternoon on a jeep safari trip seeing elk, turkeys, Cherokee reservation. Driver Brian was fun and very knowledgeable."

"It was a nice place, very peaceful. Not much in the way of luxuries but quaint and pleasant. The road to the cabin is dirt, but fairly well maintained. A small table would have been nice. We picked up a small card table at the area Walmart and it was sufficient for playing card games and doing a puzzle. It had a large tv, but no cable or satellite, so bring your favorite dvds. There is a good dvd player and there are a few movies on the shelf. This is a good place to go and “unplug.” Overall I would say that our stay was very pleasant!"

Mountain Escape with fantastic views & hot tub!

"We had a great stay at the cabin. Everything was perfect we had all we needed. The place has a great view and the hot tub was very relaxing. We got to see elk that came into the front yard to graze. The town is just a short drive away and very close to hiking trails shopping and restaurants. We loved the place!!!!"

Awesome mountain escape with long range Mountain views with stunning sunsets!

"This lower floor cabin was perfect in size for our getaway. The interior was well decorated, in good repair and we made good use of the deck to enjoy the view and sunsets. The cabin is deep in the Smokies with a few other dwellings quite a distance away. No sign of civilization in the view from the back deck and plenty of peace and quiet.Captain Tony and Nancy the hosts who live in the upper floor, were a pleasure to meet and I would not have known they were there had they not dropped by and said hello.The only two things that were not ideal about the cabin was the Internet connection was slow at times and this caused problems with Chat GPT image generation and some stutters when we streaming the World Cup on the TV. The TV is a Roku TV which was a plus as I was able to connect to my home plex server and have access to all my content and live TV.Finally the shower stream was stinging with no way to control the flow. Some people may like that but for me it made my showers uncomfortable."

"We had a great time at this cabin. We travel yearly to NC for our summer vacation and this cabin is easily in our top 2 out of the 8/9 times we’ve done this. Which one is first is hard to say as they were different, but the outdoor area really seals it for this cabin. It’s well maintained, easy access to the stream from the house (it’s an awesome stream to explore) and plenty of grass as well for the people with dogs. The home was the quintessential cabin in the woods with plenty of charm. It was also very clean and everything worked. The internet can be a bit spotty but it was overall good. It’s satellite so the speed was good it just drops signal occasionally and this was explained before renting. It still allowed the kids to play and stream on their iPads and we were able to work when needed on the laptops. Overall it’s a beautiful property and the drive in is fun as well. We highly recommend staying here if you have kids or dogs that love playing in the stream while being secluded in the mountains. Our host Matt was also responsive and helpful when needed."
