We fished, swam in the pool, played games, explored Slidel, went to lake Pontchartrain and swamps. There is so much to do in the area and the house was the icing on the cake. « Spent school vacation week at Windward with family, including 2 grandchildren. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children, with a pool for additional fun. Lovely setting on the canal with good proximity to New Orleans, grocery sores and Swamp Tour. »

« The home is large and had plenty of space for our family to spread out. The home is right on the water and has lovely views early in the morning. Would be nice to have some outdoor furniture to sit out and enjoy the sunrise. The kitchen has the basics: dishes, silverware, pots and pans, dishwasher, cups, coffee maker, etc. It was missing trash bags though. Through no fault of the owner, the water coming out of the faucet is less than ideal. I recommend picking up bottled water on your way in....

« The house was nice, coffee pot was broken so we had to door dash coffee every morning which was costly. And 2 people left things behind and I tried contacting host after we arrived home and he did not get back to us. He was helpful and easy to get in touch with leading up to our trip. And he allowed us to access the house early. Overall good place to stay. Neighborhood was nice. We did a lot of walking around, enjoying the weather and views. »
