Apartment on the first floor of a historic building of the Thousand, located in the historic center, a few steps from Piazza del Campo, the Duomo and all the major historic sites of the city. Finely furnished with antique furniture, equipped with large and bright living room with fireplace with double sofa bed, double bedroom with canopy bed and comfortable and super-equipped typical Tuscan cuisine. Bathroom with shower cabin with use of washing machine ..
Siena is a romantic and quiet city of the province closed to the. traffic of machines. The old town is ztl within the walls can not enter with the cars there are paid parking areas see the website www. sienaparcheggi. co. for details. I recommend if you arrive by car at the station only 15 minutes from the center and the cheapest about 3 € per day ... in front of the bus station and taxi. bus price q. 50 taxis 10-12 € approx
If you take the bus to the center, ask for the one to Piazza Gramsci, 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
Siena is pleasant to walk in the historic alleys .... the owner lives in the building of the apartment for rent and is available for every need

Bel appartement et hôtesse charmante

L'appartement est très bien situé dans Sienne, proche du campo et autres sites touristiques. L'espace est intéressant, très haut plafond, et relativement calme. Costanza est une hôtesse charmante, attentive à nous satisfaire et généreuse. Son tiramisu eest excellent ainsi que la bouteille de vin qu'elle nous a offert. J'y retournerai sans problème.

Déception séjour location et environnement.

Nous avions programmé ce séjour avec un couple d'amis et choisi cette location aussi pour sa piscine dite "privative". Il n'en fut rien, car, en fait le hameau possède plusieurs maisons et celle-ci est réservée à TOUS les résidents. Nous en avons donc "profité" trois fois en 10 jours. D'autre part, il faudrait prévenir, lors de la prise de contact, qu'il s'agit d'un hameau pour familles avec enfants ou personnes âgées, car lorsque vous voulez profiter de vos vacances, après un an de travail, et qu'à 22h15, on vient taper à votre porte pour vous dire de lire le règlement intérieur, que TOUT bruit, même TV, doit cesser à 22h00, on y serait pas venus ! Le fait d'être réveillés chaque matin à 6h par des pleurs d'enfants n'est pas vraiment reposant non plus, pas plus que ragoûtant, la fosse septique à toucher notre location, avec ses odeurs pestilentielles en permanence. Enfin, lorsqu'on loue sa demeure, surtout pour deux couples, on fait en sorte qu'il y ait suffisamment de vaisselle. Tout fut très sommaire, et ce que nous retiendrons, c'est l'absence de courtoisie de la direction, qui a littéralement insulté nos amis un matin, parce que nous avions (soit-disant) été bruyants la veille. Bref, un conseil à ces gens, prévenez vos futurs clients qu'il s'agit d'un hameau pour retraités ou pour effectuer, pourquoi pas, une retraite spirituelle, vous éviterez alors des avis négatifs à posteriori. Mais, à priori nous ne sommes pas les premiers à nous plaindre de tout ceci. Dommage !

My two months in Siena, Italy

From the moment I got out of my taxi, I was greeted by the owner, Costanza. She and her assistant, Asia, treated me like a long lost friend! I was hours late but they were still waiting! I climbed up the stairs to my top floor apartment and was happy with what I saw. Everything I needed was there! The kitchen with a gas stove was just what I needed. There was a dishwasher as well as the stove and large fridge. There was also a washing machine for my clothes and everything else was extraordinary! The place was clean and nicely presented with a huge bed and a pull out bed for my friends to stay when they visited.Throughout my stay, Costanza was always available to help out. She is warm and understanding beyond belief! On my final night after a two month stay, she cooked a wonderful five course meal with plenty of red wine. She teaches cooking, so I knew that I was in for a treat. When leaving, Costanza organized a taxi and a person to lift my very heavy suitcase.Overall, it was a marvellous experience!Definitely a place to return to!

Great apartment, host, and location.

A very nice and clean apartment in a convenient location and the host is extremely helpful and close at hand. Just remember to bang the washer door closed if it displays an error code!

The place was amazing and Conni was the best host. We enjoyed chatting with her, meeting her pup, and using her apartment. We would do it again and tell friends about her. She was a life saver getting us a taxi to our train on the last day!!Grazie!!

Buyer beware!

This property has not been cleaned and upgraded over time to match the photos in the listing. We were shocked at how dirty and dinghy the stairwell had become. There were boxes of various items (maybe trash) at the bottom of the stairs and at the top. The stairs were difficult to navigate due to their worn-smooth condition. To be fair, my wife and I are older and carrying heavy suitcases is difficult for me. There was no one to assist with getting our bags up two flights to the apartment. The owners response to that was that she is not responsible to get our luggage into the apartment, although she did say her son would bring up our bags later after 8 pm. I would say that anyone renting their apartment to people should know that assistance should be available as needed for their guests. Buyer beware!Once in the apartment, we didn’t like the dark rooms and lack of lighting. The owner showed us around and gave me the keys. Once alone, my wife started to cry and asked me if I really wanted her to stay there for 5 nights. She was very unhappy and wanted to leave. I immediately agreed and we left the apartment and returned the keys.The owner would not agree to canceling the rental. VRBO wouldn’t do anything. We lost 5 nights of rent.The owner will refute what I have said. She has not kept the apartment in good condition. What we saw does not match the photos. Buyer beware.I urge you to read all the reviews, especially the low ones. They are in line with what we saw.

Short stay in Siena!

The property is beautiful and amazing! The host is as well. She also offers a cooking class which I highly recommend. Building is a short taxi ride from the train station. It is located in perfect walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the piazza, Duomo, and Torre. Space is clean and comfortable and absolutely charming. Loved my stay in Siena!

Constanza is an absolutely charming hostess and it was an honour to stay in her beautiful home steeped in history. I cannot recommend this stay enough! A special shout-out to Roy, the sweetest dog and a very good boy, 10/10 for both him and Costanza.
