« The cottage is in a great location to access all parts of the island. Decor and furnishing are on the basic side, but this is more than reflected in the price. The garden has lovely views - a picnic table is provided but I suggest taking your own camping chairs for more comfy, longer term seating. « No Air conditioning! Bar under with loud party all night long. Windows open for air. You book this room only if you want to party. « Property was very clean and had everything that we needed. It did have two bedrooms which would be OK if you had two adults and two small kids. Not enough room for 4 adults, but it was perfect for my husband and myself. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady working in reception who was wonderful and very understanding when we accidentally booked the wrong date for checking out. « We spent 4 great days at Dan's who was so welcoming and friendly. The bedroom is very big and the bed is so comfy. Dans provides some cereals, croissants, orange juice and hot drinks every morning. Another perk was that we could use the kitchen and cook our meals, or take an already prepared salad on the table outside to enjoy the sun in the garden. Cherry on the cake: Dan has got a kayak we used to paddle along the coast which was fun. We practised our English over a drink on our last night. »

Also climbed Bembridge Windmill and had lunch at St Helen's beach.Had a boiler breakdown on first morning so had no hot water for 4 days, happened on the Friday so difficult to find someone to repair it.
