"The garden is big and prescious, we enjoyed every bit of it! The house has everything you need for a cosy stay, even if its raining. If you want some privacy and long for a place to calw down, this is where you should stay. In case of boredom, there is a lovely piazza in monticiano, where you can find a bar, restaurant and supermarket during off-season. To get there its a ten minutes walk."

"You have all the amenities of a large, historic villa - and also the real farmland all around you. Sheep, horses, dogs - beautiful, and not in your personal space (unless you want them to be!). Pasqualina and her son Francesco are perfect hosts. Incredibly responsive, even with a language barrier. If I return to Tuscany I would want to stay here again. Thank you so much."

"My husband and I came for a weekend with our dog. When we first arrived, I was a bit disappointed as our apartment was on the other side of the road, quite a long way from the beach. The apartment is rather dated, but spotless and spacious. I had imagined a little cabin, a few steps away from the seat, but those do not accept pets. "Wonderful stay – highly recommend! Beautiful complex in a quiet countryside setting, with a large pool and plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast was included, and dinner at the hotel was excellent value: buffet starters, two dishes from the menu, and unlimited dessert. As seafood lovers, we were very happy with the choice. Breakfast and dinner were so generous we didn’t need lunch. Staff were fantastic — special thanks to Tati at reception, the restaurant team, and Francesco at the pool. Everything was spotless. Only drawback: Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room or the pool, so we used mobile data. Location is peaceful yet convenient, about an hour to Pisa and 25 minutes to the beach. We’d happily return in the near future"

The main villa, with its frescoed walls and centuries-old charm, set the tone for a stay that was both luxurious and deeply soulful. Every detail is thoughtful, from the refined, rustic design of the rooms to the organic bath products made right on the estate. We especially loved the infinity pool carved into the limestone—it offers one of the most stunning views in all of Tuscany. The food was exceptional—fresh, seasonal, and sourced from the property’s own biodynamic farm. Whether enjoying a multi-course meal at Villa Pignano or a wood-fired pizza under the stars at Al Fresco, every bite told a story of the land. "This cute hotel is a 1-minute walk to the beach! It is a little outside of central Follonica, but totally walkable. We are a family of three and we walked to town every night for dinner and gelato. We also walked to and from the train-station with heavy backpacks. They do have bikes to rent at the hotel, and Follonica provide small trains after 17:30 that take you to and from town until midnight. Very clean and great buffet breakfast! Would highly recommend! "
