« I’ve stayed at several rentals and this was by far the best! My family and friends had an excellent time! There were 8 of us and we never felt crowded. There is something for everyone at Gaylene’s beautiful home. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen has EVERYTHING you could ever need. We cooked every meal together and enjoyed the large kitchen and dining areas. We spent every evening and morning on the deck enjoying the view. The dock made it possible for us to bring our boats to enjoy the lake....

« This is our fourth stay at the Fontana Cabin, so it has become a tradition. Robert is very caring and professional; he ensures we have everything we need to have a wonderful stay. Don't let the dirt/gravel road scare you. Sime of our group drove sedans and had no trouble at all. We always bring everything we need for the week. I grew up here so we sometimes leave for a meal out, but for the most part, we sit on the porch and enjoy the incredible view. »

« The family really enjoyed our stay. The views were great and the nature trail next to the property was a hit. Morning and Afternoon walks was shared with each other. The host was wonderful and kept in touch throughout our stay, which was welcomed. He was available and accommodating. The family has named our VRBO experience, "The 2023 Christmas Cabin Vacation." »

« The cabin was nice, we really enjoyed playing games and working puzzles; the porch/deck covered area was nice to sit and eat or talk and relax. The location was great! Some of the bedrooms did not get enough A/C (we stayed during the summer) but other than that, we very much enjoyed it! »

« Great weekend visit to property. Large kitchen, well stocked. Bedrooms great for kids and families. Docked a star due to parking (super steep driveway that have to back out and not a lot of room to park) and outdoor area covered in leaves and dirt, so hard to enjoy. Stairs down to dock not bad at all. My 3 year old made it easy. Check out instructions clear and easy. Thanks for the stay! »

« We enjoyed the cabin. I've never seen a house with so many light switches!! Thankfully they were all labeled. It was clean and nice. The WiFi worked well too. Our biggest issues were the road into the property. I wish we had known it was better geared go all wheel drive vehicles. We did make it through though. Lastly, the furniture could use a refresh or deep cleaning as they were somewhat stained. All in all, we would definitely stay again and recommend to others. »

« Nice camper and host, clean. Enjoyed the stay. Only negatives I could possibly say were that the piece of land it sits on is small, would have liked to have more space, the Mi-Fi would come and go but given the location i understand and the main bad mattress was not comfortable for my side sleeping and boney Hips. Maybe a mattress topper would be nice. But Overall everything worked and was nice, price was great and would stay there again. »

« First the good. Nice cozy house on the lake. Nothing fancy but clean and functional. Really nice dock/pier on a beautiful spot on the lake. There really is no bad but some things to be aware of. Internet was spotty our entire trip if that’s important to you. There had been some storms before we got there and WiFi/internet was completely out on arrival. « The house was great, as advertised, and perfect for a small family weekend getaway. The only negative was the constant boat traffic through the narrowing in front of the house. Many observed the no-wake consideration but others leaving the busy little dock next door seemed to try be as loud, and create as much wake, as possible. »

« Found kids hair barrettes and 2 ducks in the jacuzzi so def was not cleaned out before our stay. Yellow stains on the single queen bed. Everything else was amazing! The location the set up the kitchen and etc had everything we needed to stay for the weekend and didnt need to pack alot to stay comfortably. »
