« On previous trips to Santa Barbara we’ve stayed closer to the beach, but for this mother/daughter trip with an independent teen I wanted to be close enough to Street street for my daughter to browse shops while I worked. Best. Location. Ever. Drift opens directly onto the first few blocks of State street which are closed to through traffic. It’s vibrant, lively and safe. « Quaint, Danish lodge. Comfortable, but nothing fancy. Fairly dated looking. We just stayed one night. Close to all the shops. »

« Listing was somewhat accurate. The rooms were nice, but a bit older and the carpets on the dingier side. The listing made it seem like we would have our own seating area within the room and that was not the case. It was worth what we payed for in that area of Solvang, I suppose. »
