"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. "Loved our stay, it was incredible! Staff was wonderful especially Kenneth. We did a boat tour and he was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic to ensure all the birds on my list were at-least attempted to be found, which he successfully located 100% of them! We saw many herons, hummingbirds, storks, roseate spoonbills, kingfishers, and jabirus! (Among so many other life-listers) At sunrise I sat on the balcony of our room with coffee and binoculars and saw many amazons, parakeets, and even a scarlet macaws. Food was excellent as well. The road to the ranch is 100% worth it. We came on motorcycles and would highly recommend this to anyone who’s interested in birding, wildlife and a more authentic/rural type of hospitality"

"Most wonderful VRBO experience you could have. The house is literally on the beach and you can't see or hear any neighbors!!! Clean and the rooms are big and bedrooms have AC! The caretaker is quite and nice and literally you will not see or hear him as he is far behind the house on the property. The whole place is very well maintained and landscaped. The host was so so responsive and accommodating to all requests and questions answering concerns about road conditions immediately! So helpful!!! Plenty of yard games and board games available so entertainment wasn't a problem. The beach feels private as you don't see anyone!!! We went at the end of August the patio furniture for lounging if so comfortable and in the shade. Lots of shade and sunshine. Restaurant Restaurante Mar yTierra is about 15min away Absolutely go to that it's top 3 dining experiences I've had in the world. Overall book this place if you are looking for quite solitude a responsive host and a beautiful comfortable house"

"The host was easy to communicate with. Property was beautiful, had everything we needed. Check in process was super easy. We loved the shops and restaurants close by. We had an issue with money missing from several of our guests, an unresolved issue that put a damper on our trip but besides this issue everything was perfect. Would definitely stay here again."
