« This was a delightfully peaceful stay for my husband and me. There is plenty of room for at least 6 people and even a detached building/BBQ to entertain around 30 people and ample parking.David Woodie is a wonderful host. This is the second time we have stayed at one of this Host’s properties. It is very conveniently located to downtown Sparta, which is charming. « We come out to NC Wine Country every Spring and Fall and if we have a big enough group (6-8), this has been our preferred property. It's perfectly situated near so many of our favorite Wineries and Vineyards, so our itinerary always starts and ends locally. « The place is beautiful with an awesome view, but be aware that there is no ac on lower level. If your a biker, yes there is an asphalt road, but it is worn and access to driveway is tricky due to strong incline. Not for amateurs. It does have a carport. We were able to fit 2 bikes, a single bike trailer and pickup.We did have a great time. »

« We stayed for a family get together, the space was nice but for a larger group (7) the kitchen was small. We used paper plates and plasticware to keep down on dishes but there is only one outside trash can and with a larger group including an infant trash was taken out more often and accumulated quickly.
