It is gorgeously decorated, with all the added extras (like bath salts and dressing gowns!). Sitting near the fireplace at night is wonderful and walking in the gardens with the puppies is lovely. I spent my weekend reading, walking around the sights of historic Rydal and relaxing. It is the perfect getaway. Highly recommended and bonus points for being puppy friendly! Our host, Rosie, welcomed us to her home when we arrived in the late afternoon and showed us through the compact abode which provided all we would need for our overnight mid-winter stay, including electric blankets and underfloor heating in the bathroom.
