"I really enjoyed my stay, perfect location with lovely views of the ocean. The property has all the amenities you could need from a home - from home holiday. That combined with the beautiful artwork throughout the property really created a relaxing experience. The host was welcoming and responsive. I would definitely stay again. "

"The Bear of Burton - very nice country style pub and hotel. With a large car park at the rear. Staff - very friendly and helpful. Rooms - very well presented, clean and and tidy. Lots of rooms within hotel. Evening meal - good selection on menu, quick service and fairly priced. Bed - very comfortable, great nights sleep. Breakfast - a decent selection of cold buffet style food (Cerals, Yogurts, Fruit, Pastries, juice, & hot drinks), along with another good selection of cooked food options. Overall - very nice, more than happy to visit again."

"Great place to stay in heart of Christchurch, overlooking the cathedral. The renovations are beautiful, giving a relaxing, arty vibe in which to relax, with a high standard of decor. Staff are fantastic, very friendly whilst professional, and made all guests feel really welcome. Great welcome on arrival, friendly, pleasant and helpful. All seemed to enjoy working there! It could do with some sofas/easy chairs for guests to relax in apart from the bar, ‘cafe’, or restaurant areas, but this didn’t spoil our stay as no one hurried us out of either. Maybe some low coffee tables in place of some of the cafe tables? Will definitely be staying again, such fantastic service from all staff in a lovely, welcoming environment."

"We had a fantastic break. The house was very clean, great for a family of 4 and a dog. Location great near shops, 30min walk to the beach. Communication with owner fantastic! It really made our New Year break great experience!Thank you so much and I highly recommend this property."
