Its allure lies in its untouched natural beauty, from the dramatic cliffs of the Napali Coast to the enchanting rainforests of Wailua. Kauai is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, and anyone seeking tranquility amid stunning landscapes. Paniolo 204A is located in a very walkable part of Princeville, a great blend of comfort and convenience, ensuring that your Hawaiian getaway is nothing short of spectacular. One of the most appealing of Paniolo 204A is its unbeatable location. Situated on the north shore of Kauai in Princeville, you'll find yourself surrounded by a plethora of natural and cultural attractions. Anini Beach is a short, shady 10 minute hike. The Saturday morning farmer's market is an easy 5 minute stroll, and five minutes past that is the Princeville shopping center with its grocery store, restaurants, boutiques, bar and grill, wine market, and more. The Westin is a 5 minute walk in the other direction and offers a Starbucks, minimart, and several restaurant dining options. Just across the street is the multi-use path which is perfect for walking, jogging, or biking. Hanalei is 10 minutes away, with its charming boutiques, great restaurants, and gorgeous beaches. Lumahili Gardens, the NaPali coast, and Hanalei Bay are within easy driving distance. As you step into Paniolo 204A, you'll immediately feel the embrace of Hawaiian hospitality. The spacious living area is thoughtfully designed, providing a cozy space to unwind after your day's adventures. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your favorite meals with ease, and the dining area is perfect for enjoying them with loved ones. Comfortably sleeps four people with a king bed downstairs and two twin beds in the loft-style bedroom upstairs, and lovely tradewinds to keep you cool once you've settled in for the night. If you'd like to convert the two twin beds upstairs to a king bed, everything you need is in the apartment, just ask us where to find it. A washer and dryer are available, allowing you to pack light and have fresh clothes for every adventure. You can also enjoyed the shared pool and barbecue in the complex, a great way to end an active day with a swim and grilling up your catch of the day. Please note that Paniolo is a non-smoking property. The entire condo property is smoke free. Smoking is only permitted off of the condo property and then only as long as it is not within twenty (20) feet of a living unit. These are both condo association rules and Hawaii state statutes. As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned, but you'll find the cooling tropical tradewinds keep you comfortable and let you enjoy the scent of the fresh sea air. This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators. This home has internet, but the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party. The only other picky negative is there is no overhead lighting, just lamps, so you're sitting in the dark to eat dinner. Condo a few feet from Ka Haku Rd which can be busy at times. Overall good price point for Princeville location. Easy walking distance to Foodland grocery store. I did without car for most of my stay. Kauai Bus had convenient service on Kuhio Highway. Haena shuttle service will get you to Napali Coast from Waipa location (near Hanalai). For Waimea Canyon Drive trails and scenery will need car, as Kauai Bus does not access that area. ##### Bengt I. Great location on the north end to explore the beautiful beaches nearby. Originally we were looking for an airbnb in the central part of the island near the Airport to be accessible to both the south end and the north end. That would have put us in major traffic daily. That airbnb was listed 4 different times but unavailable once booked and pre paid for. Each time we had to cancel our listing. Then I found this great condo available on vrbo. May 24, 2025 Liked: Check-in, location Disliked: Cleanliness, communication #### Disappointing We stayed here for five nights in May 2025\. We were incredibly underwhelmed and disappointed. The cleanliness of the property was hard to overlook and took away from the overall experience in a beautiful place. Communication with the property manager was not great. Taking three different instances of reaching out before receiving a response. The price was attractive, however, it made us wish we would have spent a little more to stay somewhere more comfortable. Here are some of the issues we noticed:Dead bug in the bed sheets did not inspire confidence that the unit had been cleaned recently. There was old residue on the fridge and a very shaky handle that felt like it could fall off at any point, a dirty toilet brush next to the toilet, the toilet took basic plumbing skills to flush each time as it wouldn’t fill correctly. The screen above the kitchen sink was broken and we were treated with There is a washer and dryer and there was no way to seal the window to avoid unwanted visitors coming through. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Graciously, they gave us just three pods of laundry detergent which obviously isn’t enough for four people staying for a week. My youngest two kids were sleeping upstairs and so they have privacy to play until late a night withouth interrupting my sleep. Plenty of towels at the bathroom, having laundry and dryer was a A+ and not to mentioned they have beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling mask, coolers, beach umbrella etc for you to spend your day at the beach withouth worrying on renting extra equipment 😎The temperature in March was chilly so we didn’t even need to open the windows or the fans at night. The community is super quiet and we love that we had an assigned parking spot for our rental jeep. Also Princeville is super beautiful and close to all the beaches at the north shore, I strongly recommend this location to stay !They were super fast responding my questions and request! Nov 13, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location Disliked: Communication #### Well stocked and clean but a few problems Property was clean and well stocked when we checked in on Saturday. We had an issue with a torn window screen that prevented us opening the window vents next to our bed. This caused us to sleep hot at night. We called the number on Saturday for help and heard nothing back. Called again on Sunday and left a message. We did get a call back on Sunday and were told someone would be out Monday to fix the screen. Monday no one came and we received no call telling us why. We called the help number again and left a message. We got a call back and the lady said she would have it fixed on Tuesday and she would get the guy at her office to call us back and let us know what time they’d be there. We got no call back but just happened to be there about 2PM on Tuesday when the repair guy got there and fixed the screen, Communication needs improvement as well as getting repairs done in a timely manner. The unit was in a good location but not within the walking distance to shops as described in the writeup. We had to drive to everything. It wasn’t far but it wasn’t within walking distance.
