"The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The staff was friendly. It was before Memorial Day, so the operation matched the expected occupancy. The only negative is at night the appliances' lights added a glow in the room and you could not shut the blinds enough to block all of the outdoor lighting. The operation times of the restaurants and other retail stores also reflected the off season. This is not a critique, it is just something to be aware of. It was an enjoyable stay."

The cabin was a halfway point for us and exactly what we were looking for! Clean, great location, perfect size for the 2 of us. Thanks so much for telling us about the Northern Lights! "Just wow! This home is so close to everything. The decor was beautiful, everything was super clean and there’s all the utensils, bowls, air fryer, coffee, you could ever need. The fire pit was great for keeping warm while my husband and I sat out stargazing after the kids went to bed. The fenced in back yard was also a huge plus. 1,000% would stay here again."

"The little yellow Cottage #1 was the perfect location for my long holiday weekend stay in Port Austin. The cottage was charming and i loved the farmer's market and Memorial day celebration close by. It was in Walking distant of the Beach, harbor, restaurants and creative shopping. A short drive to friends at local camp sites. I appreciate the porch and garden patio. Easy front street parking.
