The Neighborhood: Just a few blocks North of Center City, Spring Garden is a calm neighborhood has significant cultural attractions. The architecture is mid-to-late 19th century, and the neighborhood has many restaurants and bars nearby. It is also much easier to park in this neighborhood than Center City, to take into account if you're coming by car! It’s also a few minutes from the city’s most historic neighborhoods — including Old City and Society Hill — as well as many tourist attractions, on Independence Mall and elsewhere. By its proximity to Center City, Spring Garden is the ideal choice for any traveler looking to travel by car, or looking for a quieter neighborhood while still enjoying all the benefits the city has to offer. Getting Around: Philadelphia, one of the country’s most walkable cities, is incredibly easy to navigate either by foot or by public transportation. That just leaves one question: Where to park the car? ON-SITE PARKING: The building offers paid parking starting at $25/day (discounts for longer stays) We’ll share the link to reserve your spot with them once you book. ON-STREET PARKING Philadelphia has thousands of metered spots throughout the city, perfect if you only plan to park for an hour or two. The area near this unit usually has a little street parking available. This place is in a great location in Philly: several cool bars/restaurants are within a few blocks, about half a mile to Chinatown and a mile-Ish to Reading Terminal Market/town hall area. We didn’t use our car at all while staying here. They provide you with a code, so check in and check out is all on your own. The space itself had everything we needed and it has a cool industrial review. This is an excellent place to stay in the city, and is a bit off the main tourist areas. Thanks for a great stay!
