« We only used the apartment to sleep and shower. We spent most of our time at a family member's house nearby. The apartment was clean and had plenty of towels. I only found one washcloth, so it would have been nice to have more. We just used hand towels instead, so no big deal. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. We didn't use the kitchen, but the counter would be nice to entertain, if needed. »

« Best bang for buck you'll ever find. Not perfect as they don't have showers, and the sand is a bit annoying but the best for budget. Kayaking there was awesome 👍 »

« This was super fun! We went with our 5 and 3 year old and they had a blast. The camp fire was perfect and it was really nice they provided wood and starters and great chairs. The cabin itself was great and had everything we needed--pans, fridge, sink, plates, etc...The bathroom was tough--the shower door was broken--which made it really difficult considering how small everything was already. We totally felt like we were secluded and it was a lot of fun with our kids.
We did not get a check-in...

« We were a Dad, an adult son and hi two friends, so 4 large guys. The Happy Traveler Cabin was super clean, well stocked and roomy, we were very comfortable. Nicole did a great job and was easy to communicate with. We visit Starve Rock/Matthiesson/Ottawa several times a year, and this location was perfect. I posted a Turkey visitor in the backyard »

« This property technically had what was needed, but it was very, very bare minimum. For instance - 3 towels for 4 people is not sufficient, and there was not an extra pillow or extra blanket to be found. We have 2 teenagers and 1 slept on the couch. We didn’t even have an extra blanket to give him - which was a bummer. Luckily, we had some extra sweatshirts with us. But - we were only there 1 night so we made it work, any more than that and it would not have worked for us. »
