Fish Camp at Waterdance - Log Cabin On The River
10/10 Excellent
"This river house was truly a dream. From the moment we arrived, the decor transported us from our beachy Florida mindset to the cozy, serene cabin vibes of the mountains. Every room was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated—nothing was missing or overlooked. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and we loved spending our evenings working on puzzles and exploring the little library provided. The river was the real showstopper—our kids spent all day playing in the water, and the provided tubes were such a thoughtful bonus. Evenings around the fire pit making s’mores were the perfect end to each day.The location was spot on—perfectly positioned between Bryson City’s adventures and the charm of Cashiers, with its farmers market, grocery store, and brewery all just a short, scenic drive away. Check-in and check-out were smooth and clearly communicated. And although the property is adjacent to the owners’ home, it never felt anything but private and peaceful. We highly recommend this home to families looking for an unforgettable mountain getaway. We can’t wait to come back!"
"Debi has created a slice of botanical paradise at her property. The location is lush with plants, flowers and singing birds (and chickens) to seranade you. The apartment is comfortably and beautifully appointed with a comfortable king bed, fully appointed kitchen (minus oven), dining area and a very nice bathroom. You can sit on the deck and chill on the chaise lounge or enjoy the two person swing as you peruse the landscape. We plan on a return stay in the fall. Highly recommend!"
"I can’t imagine a better home base for our long weekend getaway with friends! We spent a lot of time on the spacious deck, admiring the unbeatable view of the lake. The cabin is outfitted beyond belief. So much has gone into anticipating your every need. Thoughtful touches include bathroom nightlights on a timer, ample power outlets close to the bed, the most comfortable reclining sofa chairs ever, comfy throw blankets, and a welcoming bottle of bubbly! The location was great - we were able to go hiking, boating on the lake, and visit Highlands, Cashiers, and Sapphire easily. No need to look further - this place has it all!"
"Amazing views of the lake from the balcony. We had a special time with the family. Remote but in a good way. 15 min to Cashiers, 20 min from Highlands. We rented a boat on the lake and made memories."

"The house was beautiful and cozy with a lovely view of the lake and waterfall, with plenty of trees to give some privacy. The host was very helpful and make the check in and out processes as easy as possible. My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic weekend of swimming, kayaking, and fishing and would stay at this house again in the future!"
"Great view across lake. Fine furniture. AC wasn’t working properly but was quickly fixed when reported. Large kitchen fully equipped. Driveway is very steep. Stairs are steep inside as well. Got our exercise going up and down. But other than that, it was a great place to stay. "
