"This is just what my sister and I were looking for. It was quiet, clean and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying beauty of the outdoors. There are a few items that could be updated inside or repaired but it didn’t distract from our stay. The kitchen didn’t have any bowls to make a salad."

"Although by no means 'fancy' digs, the house and its furnishings were perfectly comfortable and ideal for our group of six. It was a 5-8 min walk to the center of town, so convenient to all activities. We didn't do any cooking so can't speak to the adequacy of the kitchen furnishings, but you do need to provide your own coffee. Simple, reasonably priced accommodations in a beautiful location."

Washer and dryer with unscented laundry soap was a nice surprise, along with an airfryer. Appreciated those! Fireplace nice for cold rainy days was nice too. 2 full bathrooms was appreciated."

Nice selection of towels and plenty of pillows and blankets. Bring garage bags, foil or parchment paper if you are planning on being at the house and cooking. "

"Whidbey is a wonderful island. Enjoyed our visit with relatives in nearby Greenbank and appreciated the fenced yard for our dog. Easy drive as highway is close but quiet and peaceful in the house except when jets are flying! Husband enjoyed seeing the F 18’s land and take off. "The house was perfect for our needs and the location was great (beautiful view) however the house is in need of some TLC. Curled up carpets were a tripping hazard, the back outdoor camera flashed on and off all night, weeds growing out of the gutters. Beds are comfortable and we really enjoyed the heaters in the bathrooms (we were there when it was cold so that was great after a shower) but living room furniture is awful (not comfortable at all and felt like it might break if more than 1 person...
